Beautifully made movie with so much wonderful information that constantly gives glory to our Creator. Not only did my husband and I enjoy watching it but even our 1 year old learned from it! We have been trying to teach him the sign (American Sign Language) for bird, but he just didn’t seem to understand that one. After watching your movie, he was sitting here signing bird and getting very excited! The next time we went outside he heard a bird and instantly started signing it! I am eager to use this great resource to teach him to not only identify what a bird is, but what each type of bird is. Wonderful job!!

Our family had the privilege of being among the audience that got to witness the premiere of “Your Backyard” at the San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival where it had been chosen as a semi-finalist. We were very pleased! The Crowe Family did an excellent job in every aspect, from the research and script, to filming and editing. “Your Backyard” is very colorful, entertaining, informative, and child-friendly. What a delightful way for both adults and children to learn about the birds that our God has created!!

The bonus features are fun, as well, especially the “Bird Quiz,” which reveals how much you’ve learned from the video.

Since watching Your Backyard, we’ve found ourselves listening for and identifying birds in our own yard – beautiful sounds that we probably had never before noticed!

We’ve already ordered several DVDs to share with our friends. It makes a great birthday or Christmas gift or delightful “Get Well” present, especially when combined with the suet bird feeder!

The film is hosted by the Crowe children, who are very personable, lovable, and surprisingly professional for their young ages! One thing that we especially appreciate about Your Backyard is how kind and respectful the Crowe siblings are to each other and to the adults in the film. They will be a good example to other children, even as they teach about birds and our God who created them. Others will definitely want “Your Backyard” in their media library!

What a wonderful hour to spend with my kids! We hung a bird feeder up in the spring but have had no idea what kinds of birds were actually at the feeder. Now we can go back try to identify them ourselves.

Thank you to the Crowe Family for such hard work, attention to detail and dedication to giving the glory to to God!

Extremely well done educational product which shows God’s beautiful creation. We provided it as a gift for our granddaughter, and she loves it. Our son says she keeps asking to watch the bird video. Not only does she enjoy watching with a smile and laugh (she especially enjoys all the sections with the Crowe children), but is picking up great information with a creation base. The music use adds much to the package.

The professionalism of the Crowe children is amazing, and the product is very well produced.
Much of the information in the extra chapters (making suet, building feeders, etc) is great for both children and parents and provides great video and information to use in child-parent activities.

Great job from the Crowe’s Nest!!

What a great movie! It kept the children enthralled, and as soon as it was over there was a fight as to who would be the first to stand on the stool at the kitchen window and identify the birds on the feeder!
All the hours and hard work put into this video is very evident in its fine detail and stunning clips! Thank you for revealing to us God’s mighty creations!

Most of the time when you get a DVD you’re less than impressed by the extras. Seems like everyone just wants to push out the bare minimum so they can collect your money.

This DVD is very different. It gives you the sense that it was put together by people who wanted to deliver MORE than you paid for. It’s a really refreshing feeling to see people trying to pack as much as possible into their product rather than selling the bare minimum.

The quality is excellent and it really does a great job of encouraging kids to walk outside and see what’s in their own backyard.

We left the one section with the bird sounds and vignettes on as a screensaver while we were doing housework. It feels like you’re bringing the outside in.

    Well done.

As a grandmother, I was excited to see this video and my first thoughts were about giving it to my great grandchildren for Christmas. But I found myself enthralled with the children and the birds and realized how little I actually knew about birds and how to identify them. This was an education for me. It made me want to put out a bird feeder and then watch for the birds that it would attract.

This is a video that appeals to all ages and is very well done. The colors are gorgeous and the sounds are clear. The video honors God and His magnificent creations. I can’t think of a nicer gift for your grandchildren or for yourself.

My third grade class really enjoyed this video. By the time it was over they were all trying to imitate the bird songs and remember which was which. They are so enthusiastic about the birds that now they would rather watch the birds at the feeder than pay attention in class. I think you have turned on a bunch of naturalists!

Wow! Like many of the comments above, we are really happy with this DVD. I really liked that an interview with a bird expert was included. So honoring to the older generation. Loved that we not only can learn about different birds, but that there are also bird feeder instructions for added fun. The children in the video are respectful and loving, which makes for a great example to viewers. By the way, our cat was also very interested in the DVD. She kept trying to jump up by the computer to find the birds. 🙂
